This Privacy Policy describes the information that may be collected from you or about you by The World We Want Foundation ("TWWWF" below) if you use its website, ("Site" below), how TWWWF may use and disclose that information, and what you can do regarding that use and disclosure.

When you use the Site, the Site, through its hardware and software, collects and stores some information from you automatically and any additional information that you choose to enter on the Site, such as the information you provide when you register, apply for assistance, post a Social Action Project, make a donation, or send an email.  All this information is available to TWWWF.

            1.  Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, the Site may automatically collect and store essential or useful technical information, such as your domain name, Internet Protocol address, browser type, referring URL, the date and time of the visit, cookie information from prior visits if any, and information about your use of the Site, such as which pages you visited.

To collect some of this information, and if your browser is set to accept "cookies", the Site may place a cookie on your hardware.  A cookie is used by many sites and is a small file that may contain information about your browser, your Site preferences or pages visited, how you got to the Site, and the like.  It allows the Site to improve its performance and to adjust to your preferences or habits.  If you wish, you can set your browser to refuse, or let you chose to refuse or accept, incoming cookies.

            2.  Information you provide

When you register on the Site, as a Team Member in a Social Action Project, Partner Organization, Mentor, Donor, or in some other capacity, the Site collects and stores information that you choose to enter, such as your name, email address, or amount donated.  Here is the kind of information collected for various activities on the Site:

If you register and open an account, the Site collects and stores your first and last name, user id, password, email address, and country, along with other optional information that you may or may not provide.

If a Project Application is submitted for a Social Action Project, the Site collects and stores the general information that is provided on that application about the Project, the Team, the Mentor(s), and the community, along with the specific information that is provided there about the Team Coordinator, the Project Mentor, and the Partner Organization.

If a Social Action Project is posted on the Site, the Site may collect and store detailed information about the Project, including descriptive text, graphics, photos, videos and other visual media, names, email addresses of involved persons, mailing addresses and physical locations of involved entities, and the like, including identifiable images of persons involved.

If you make a donation to TWWWF, the Site may collect and store your first and last name, user id, password, email address, and the amount of your donation.  The Site then directs you to the PayPal payment service, which collects information and uses it according to the terms of its policies, which you should review.  TWWWF is not responsible for PayPal's collection and use of the information that you provide PayPal.

If you donate to a specific Social Action Project or group of Projects, the Site collects and stores the information described above for a donation to TWWWF, along with the name of the Project, or the group of Projects, to which you made the donation.

Other information may also be collected and stored by the Site if, for example, you send or request information via email or participate in an online survey.

In certain situations on the Site, such as when you are making a donation, you will be given the opportunity to choose whether you want the personal information collected to be disclosed or not.

TWWWF will disclose information, including personal information, if it reasonably and in good faith believes that disclosure is necessary to comply with an applicable state or federal law, rule, or regulation, subpoena, or court order, or to protect personal or public safety or the rights of TWWWF.
